20th CENTURY MASTERS Art Exhibition Opens Today!

June 12, 2021, BUCKHANNON, WV: ART26201’s next exhibition, 20th CENTURY MASTERS, opens TODAY, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the M.I.B. GALLERY in the Colonial Arts Center, with an opening reception from 4 to 8 p.m.

This show will feature a portfolio of modern prints, on loan from West Virginia Wesleyan College, that include major works from influential 20th century artists: Stanley William Hayter, Jasper Johns, Ellsworth Kelly, Alexander Liberman, Roy Lichtenstein, Andre Masson, Robert Motherwell, Claes Oldenburg, Robert Rauschenberg, Saul Steinberg, Frank Stella, and even Andy Warhol.

To celebrate this impressive exhibition, one of the great modern painters of our time, Chuck Olson will speak at 5 p.m. to provide a brief overview of the significance of the collection.
