Drive

The City of Buckhannon is easily accessible by car, situated along Corridor H – Route 33, a four-lane divided highway, and just 10 minutes east of Interstate 79. Buckhannon is an hour from Morgantown, WV, an hour and a half from Charleston, WV, two hours to Pittsburgh, and four hours to Washington, DC. A scenic drive of just about an hour will take you to beautiful Canaan Valley, Seneca Rocks & Spruce Knob National Recreation Area, and Snowshoe Mountain Resort.

North Central West Virginia Airport (CKB) is within a half-hour drive from Buckhannon and offers non-stop flights to Washington, DC (Dulles), Chicago (O’Hara) via United Airlines, to Atlanta via Delta, and Charlotte, NC, and Dayton, OH via PSA Airlines.

Train

The Amtrak Cardinal route is accessible via Charleston, WV and has stops at various points across the southern part of the state, eventually leading to Cincinnati, OH and Chicago to the west and Washington, D.C. & New York City to the east.
