- Street Closure Announcement: The City’s Sanitary Department announces that West Lincoln Street will be closed on Monday, January 12, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m., to allow crews to complete work associated with a sanitary sewer upgrade. The closure is expected to remain in effect until approximately 4:00 p.m. The work zone will be at the West Lincoln Street and Henry Street intersection. During this time, motorists will need to use Meadow Street and Pinnell Street to travel between West Lincoln Street and WV Route 20.

Reminders:
- Snow & Ice Removal: Under City Ordinance 193, property owners must remove snow and ice from sidewalks abutting their premises. Prompt clearing ensures safe passage for children walking to school, seniors, and neighbors with mobility challenges. Please clear sidewalks as soon as practical after snowfall and maintain them throughout winter weather.
- Trash Can Placement: Trash cans must be hidden from public view as much as possible during the week; place them at the curb the night before collection, and return them within 24 hours after collection.
- Utility Bill Payments: Pay utility bills online at Municipal Online Payments or by phone at 1-866-933-4026. Setting up an account allows you to monitor your consumption.
- Report Repairs or Concerns: To report issues such as potholes or damaged signs, please call City Hall during business hours to submit a work order or use our Citizen Engagement tool: Report a Concern.
