FLOOD WARNING: Watch-for-high-water; River still rising, turn around if water over road

UPDATE 11:12 a.m. from National Weather Service in Charleston:
BUCKHANNON, WV: The City of Buckhannon is currently under a flood warning, both from small streams and river flooding. Areas prone to flooding may be underwater.
Jay Hollen, City Engineer, advises:
“Currently, water is across Wood Street near the Water Treatment Plant the Wood Street / Ritchie Street intersection.
As of 9:45 a.m., the water level of the Buckhannon River at the Hall Road Gaging Station is 22.63’. Minor flooding may occur at 23.00’ and moderate flooding may occur at 25.00’
Unfortunately, there are no maximum water level projections at this time.”
