Buckhannon Announces “Make It Shine” Event Dates

July 23, 2022, BUCKHANNON, WV: The City of Buckhannon has scheduled the annual “Make It Shine” Events for Saturday, August 13, 2022 & August 20, 2022 at the Buckhannon Transfer Station, 444 Mudlick Road, Buckhannon WV 26201 – hours for each day will be from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

The maximum amount allowed to dump, per customer, is the equivalence of two (2) pickup truck loads.

You must show proof that you are a valid customer with the Buckhannon Waste Department, with proper ID, and NOT on a service shutoff list.

Items that use Freon (such as air conditioners, Dehumidifiers, and refrigerators must be tagged and certified by a licensed vendor that the Freon has been removed.

No tires will be accepted.
