Business owners, please help us create an “Adventure in Toyland” downtown this holiday season!
November 5, 2019
BUCKHANNON, WV: This holiday season, downtown Buckhannon will take on the theme of an “Adventure in Toyland.” The City of Buckhannon’s Seasonal Downtown Decorating Committee is asking business owners to decorate their window fronts and create displays based on this theme.
The committee, chaired by Councilor Pam Bucklew, organizes the holiday decorations downtown, including the street banners and lights. The committee is all volunteer-based, and they still could use some help.
To lend a hand, please attend the committee meetings at 6:00 p.m. every Monday at the Council Chambers of Buckhannon City Hall (entrance is in the back of the building).
Business owners who wish to participate by decorating their storefront should fill out the following form and return it to City Hall before Friday, December 6, when the annual Christmas Parade will be held.
If you have any questions, please contact Pam Bucklew at (304) 439-1086.
