City of Buckhannon Launches Camden Avenue Tree Replacement Project
BUCKHANNON, WV: The City of Buckhannon has begun work on a tree replacement initiative within the Camden Avenue median, south of Marion Street. Supported by a grant from the U.S. Forest Service, the project will replace 38 trees deemed dead or no longer suitable for safe trimming.
Tree removal began today, October 9, with installation of new trees expected to take place over the next few weeks. The new plantings will contribute to the city’s ongoing efforts to maintain a healthy and attractive urban landscape.
Motorists traveling on Camden Avenue are advised to exercise caution and remain alert for crews working in the area.
