Mayor Skinner Proclaims November 27, 2021 “Small Business Saturday”
November 23, 2021, BUCKHANNON, WV: On Thursday, November 18th, Mayor Robbie Skinner acknowledged the importance of Small Businesses not only across the Nation, but right here in Buckhannon. As outlined in a mayoral proclamation, he noted that with the holiday shopping season upon us, the next several weeks will be some of the busiest of the year for retailers. Saturday, November 27, 2021 is being observed across the country as “Small Business Saturday,” celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of small business owners, highlighting the resourcefulness, ingenuity, and innovativeness of these individuals who are a key force in driving the economy of our state and nation.
The Mayor urged all residents to consider choosing the small businesses throughout the Buckhannon area when considering a purchases of any kind!
