Notice For Request Of Demolition Bids
BUCKHANNON, WV: The City of Buckhannon, WV is seeking sealed bids from current licensed contractors interested in providing services to demolish structures located at the following addresses in Buckhannon, WV.
· 11 Nona Street
· 6 Ambrose Street
Contractors interested in making their services available to the City of Buckhannon are invited to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting which will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 3:00 pm at Buckhannon City Hall at 70 E Main St, Buckhannon, WV. Bids will be accepted until Monday, June 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at which time the bids will be opened. Bids must be sealed and delivered to Buckhannon City Hall, 70 E Main St, Buckhannon, WV. Sealed bids must be clearly marked “Demolition Bid” along with the address that identifies the property for which the bid is being submitted.
The City of Buckhannon will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. The City of Buckhannon reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or any part thereof at its discretion in the best interest of the City.
