  • Curbside Recycling Pick-up begins at 6:00 a.m. – Pick-up occurs within the Buckhannon city limits. Information about recycling can be found on our website at https://buckhannonwv.org/residents/recycling/, at City Hall, or by calling the Recycling Center or Upshur County Solid Waste Authority at (304) 472-4443.

Reminders:

  • Sunday, March 8 – Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 a.m., when clocks spring forward one hour to 3:00 a.m.

  • Trash Can Placement: Trash cans must be hidden from public view as much as possible during the week; place them at the curb the night before the collection and return them within 24 hours after the collection.
  • Utility Bill Payments: Pay utility bills online at Municipal Online Payments or by phone at 1-866-933-4026. Setting up an account allows you to monitor your consumption.
  • Report Repairs or Concerns: To report issues such as potholes or damaged signs, please call City Hall during business hours to submit a work order or use our Citizen Engagement tool: Report a Concern.
