Randall Selected to Fill Vacant Council Seat
BUCKHANNON, WV: Scott Randall has been selected by members of the Buckhannon City Council to fill the vacant seat on City Council. Mr. Randall was born and raised in Buckhannon and states that his family has taught him a strong sense of community and service. He has been serving on the Buckhannon City Waste Board since September 2020, and in June 2022, he was appointed to the Upshur County Solid Waste Authority Board. Later that summer, he joined the City of Buckhannon’s Revenue Review Committee. This has kept him informed on the inner workings of the city and the many issues that the Council is facing.

Scott Randall has been a professional land agent for over twelve years, negotiating agreements and damage payments and resolving issues with multiple affected parties.
He recently participated in the city council’s most recent election and came within just a few votes of claiming one of the three seats open in that election. Mr. Randall was sworn in at this evening’s City Council meeting and will serve until June 30, 2026.
