Ritchie Street to Partially Close for 2 Weeks for Mountaineer Gas Subcontractor Work

BUCKHANNON, WV: The City of Buckhannon has been notified that a subcontractor for Mountaineer Gas Company will begin infrastructure work requiring one lane closure of Ritchie Street, from the corner of Fayette Street to the corner of Tucker Street, beginning Thursday, February 26, 2026. The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 2 weeks.

Drivers should use caution or plan alternate routes. The City will share updates as they are provided by Mountaineer Gas and its contractor.
