Street Closure: South Florida Street from East Victoria to Hart Street Tues – Wed

UPDATE, November 18, 2020: Due to unforeseen complications in the repair, S. Florida Street will remain closed between E. Victoria and Hart Street tomorrow and possibly Friday.

BUCKHANNON, WV: The Buckhannon Sewer Department will be closing South Florida Street from East Victoria Street to Hart Street beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17, 2020, through Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

Thank you for your patience while we perform maintenance on our sewer system infrastructure.

The Buckhannon Sewer Department, led by Bryan “Buck” Samples, operates the Sam Ludlow Sewer Plant, 16 pump stations, and 54 miles of sewage collection and transmission infrastructure. The Buckhannon Sewer Department provides sanitary sewer service to 3,200 Buckhannon customers and another 700 customers in the Tennerton Public Service District.
