Traffic Alert for Improvements on South Kanawha Street

BUCKHANNON, WV:  The City of Buckhannon Street Department is removing the sidewalk on the west side of South Kanawha. The Sanitary Department will soon start replacing the sewer line under the street, causing the need for the daytime closure of South Kanawha Street from Main Street to Friendly Way.  Closure will occur from Tuesday, March 18th, through Friday, March 21st, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.  Later this spring, the city will launch a repaving project of the entire section of South Kanawha Street from Main Street to South Locust Street.
