Updated Traffic Alerts For The West Virginia Strawberry Festival

BUCKHANNON, WV: The City of Buckhannon has announced the following temporary traffic updates. Here’s a quick summary of the key changes:

Street Closures:

• Madison Street (between Florida Street and Route 20) is closedfor the carnival until the end of the WVSF
• Spring Street (between Madison and Friendly Way) is closedfor the carnival until the end of the WVSF

Temporary Traffic Flow Change:

• Maple Street (one-way) will reverse direction:
  • From West Lincoln Way to Green Street
  • Effective 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 through midnight Saturday, May 17

Please plan for alternate routes and expect increased traffic in the area during the 83rd Annual WVSF.
