BUCKHANNON, WV: Stockert Youth & Community Center has a new face at the front office this summer–Michelle Harter! Harter recently assumed the role of Program Coordinator at SYCC, overseeing the summer camp and afterschool programs. Buckhannon City Council welcomed her to the position at their regular meeting on Tuesday.

Originally from Fairmont, Harter has spent the last 17 years in North Pole, Alaska, but decided now was the time to return home. She is thrilled to be back and is enjoying getting to know everyone at SYCC, especially the kids.

In addition to Camp Buccaneer, Stockert Youth & Community Center provides tutoring, after-school activities, recreation and sports classes & leagues for youth and adults in Buckhannon and Upshur County.
