Updates Regarding Yard Waste Collection For City Residents

BUCKHANNON, WV: Beginning September 1, 2025, Yard Waste (debris) will be collected from City of Buckhannon residents every Friday through November 30. Residents must contact Buckhannon City Hall to be placed on the collection list. City residents may take their bagged yard waste (debris) to the Transfer Station during normal operating hours at no charge, and are permitted to bring two truckloads per year, also at no charge.
