City To Assist With WVWC Graduation – Certain Street Closures on May 10, 2025

BUCKHANNON, WV: To ensure the safety of West Virginia Wesleyan College graduates, guests, and event staff, and to minimize disruptions during the ceremony, the City of Buckhannon will be placing barricades at the following locations beginning at 8:00 a.m. and lasting until the ceremony concludes:

• Corner of Florida Street and Camden Avenue – the purpose is to restrict general access to campus, but we will allow residents to reach their homes
• Meade Street and Camden Avenue intersection
• Meade Street and Wesley Drive intersection – We will permit access for handicapped parking
• Camden Avenue and Brooke Street (Middle Nursing Building) – full closure to prevent through traffic.
