Updates Regarding Yard Waste Collection For City Residents

BUCKHANNON, WV: Yard Waste (debris) will be collected from City of Buckhannon residents on the following dates: June 6, 2025, June 27, 2025, July 11, 2025, July 25, 2025, August 8, 2025, and August 22. 2025. Beginning September 1, 2025, it will be collected every Friday through November 30. Residents must contact Buckhannon City Hall to be placed on the collection list. City residents may take their bagged yard waste (debris) to the Transfer Station during normal operating hours free of charge, and may bring two truckloads to the Transfer Station per year, free of charge.
