The City of Buckhannon is accepting sealed bids for:

  • (1) 2025/New Waste Collection 25 Yard Rear Load Refuse Truck: Bid Details

Yard Waste Collection Updates: Yard waste will be collected from Buckhannon residents on July 25, August 8, and August 22, 2025. Starting September 1, collections will occur every Friday through November 30. Residents must contact City Hall to be added to the collection list. You can also drop off bagged yard waste at the Transfer Station for free (up to two truckloads per year).

Utility Bill Payments: Pay utility bills online at Municipal Online Payments or by phone at 1-866-933-4026. Setting up an account allows you to monitor your consumption.

Report Repairs or Concerns: To report issues like potholes or damaged signs, call City Hall during business hours to submit a work order or use our Citizens Engagement tool: Report a Concern.
