Upshur County Solid Waste Authority Announces Free Paper Shred Event

BUCKHANNON, WV: The Upshur County Solid Waste Authority is pleased to announce a Free Paper Shred Event scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This community service event will take place at the Public Works Facility, located at 395 Mud Lick Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201.

Residents are invited to bring their unwanted paper documents for secure, on-site shredding. This event provides a safe and convenient way to dispose of sensitive materials such as old bills, bank statements, medical records, and other personal paperwork.
