WVSF Update: Traffic Alert for Madison Street Closure

BUCKHANNON, WV: Madison Street is now closed to vehicle traffic from the Wendy’s parking lot entrance to South Florida Street as of Sunday, May 10, through Sunday, May 17, to accommodate the Gambill’s Amusement Carnival setup for the WV Strawberry Festival. The carnival opens to the public on Wednesday, May 13, and continues through Sunday, May 17.

Drivers should use alternate routes and allow extra time when traveling near this area. Please expect increased pedestrian activity throughout the upcoming week
