Celebrate Women’s Month with some local women leaders (video)

Friday, March 8, 2019 was International Women’s Day and the entire month of March is celebrated as Women’s History Month. Elizabeth Stover, a junior at West Virginia Wesleyan College and current Service Scholar for the City of Buckhannon and Buckhannon Volunteer Center, interviewed a few of our local women heroes. Representing business, government, and service organizations, these community leaders shared their lived experiences as women in Appalachia.
