Buckhannon Fire Department Announces The City’s Annual Christmas Parade Information

BUCKHANNON, WV: The Buckhannon Fire Department announces the City’s annual Christmas Parade will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024.  

The parade starts at 6:00 p.m., with the lineup beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Madison Street near the Goodwill parking lot. Members of the Buckhannon Fire Department will stage the parade and line everyone up. There is no application process and only ONE rule—no Santas are allowed; the Buckhannon Fire Department has only Santa. To participate in the parade, be at the lineup location at 5:00 p.m.

A map of the route (attached) shows that the parade will require a Main Street closure.

Santa will be at the Fire Station after the parade; everyone is invited!
