Buckhannon Police Department Looking To Fill Police Officer Position!

June 25, 2021, BUCKHANNON, WV: Members of the Buckhannon Police Civil Service Commission, through unanimous vote, has authorized the application process for the position of a Full Time Police Officer with the Buckhannon City Police department to continue until 4:30 pm, July 23, 2021.  Applications must be received or postmarked by this date.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and no older than 45 at time of application.  Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent and have no convictions of misdemeanors, felonies, or serious traffic offenses on their backgrounds.

The Buckhannon Police Department offers a competitive salary, paid sick leave and vacation time.
