Bulky Goods Collection Reminder

BUCKHANNON, WV: October’s regularly scheduled Bulky Goods pickup is Friday, October 13, 2023, from 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM.

A change to November’s Bulky Goods Collection Date has been announced – Due to Veterans’ Day being observed on Friday, November 10, 2023, November’s scheduled pickup is now scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2023, from 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM.

Bulky goods collection for large items such as couches, chairs, mattresses, appliances, etc. (All Buckhannon Waste Department customers are allowed 4 items per month, and 8 tires per year.)   You must call City Hall at 304-472-1651 by the prior Wednesday to schedule a pick-up.  Items must be at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on the scheduled Friday to ensure pick-up.
