City Hall, Parks, Open to the Public with Social Distancing Measures in Place
June 1, 2020
BUCKHANNON, WV: As planned and announced at the previous City Council meeting, Buckhannon City Hall re-opened to the public this morning while adhereing to social distancing guidelines from the West Virginia Governor’s Office and the Upshur-Buckhannon Health Department.
While our facility is now open to the public, we continue to encourage the use of our online or phone payment system for utilities and the iWorq Citizen Engagement tool to request City services.
If you need to come to City Hall in person, please know that our capacity is limited to two visitors in the lobby at a time. We encourage you to wear a mask or face covering and ask that you maintain at least 6 feet distance from others.
Buckhannon City Parks also re-opened today with new hours from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., to permit our City crews to daily sanitize playground equipment, picnic tables, restrooms, etc., for the next day’s activities.
