City Hall to Close for West Virginia Day!

June 18, 2021, BUCKHANNON, WV:  Buckhannon City Hall will be closed Monday, June 21, 2021, in observance of West Virginia Day.

The City Waste Department will follow its normal pickup schedule for garbage on Monday and throughout the week, however, the City Waste Transfer Station will be closed.

West Virginia Day celebrates the state’s 1863 admission to the Union as a result of the secession of several northwestern counties of Virginia during the American Civil War.
