Join us for the lighting of the menorah at Jawbone Park today!

BUCKHANNON, WV: Today, we will be joining members of the Jewish community in town to light the menorah in honor of the second day of Chanukah, which is celebrated from December 2 through December 10 this year. On Friday, we will be holding a lighting of the tree at Jawbone Park following the annual Christmas Parade hosted by the Buckhannon Fire Department. We celebrate with members of the community who will be observing Kwanzaa from December 26 – January 1. And, we will all be welcoming the beginning of longer days after the winter solstice on Friday, December 21. We are all in this together and you, and everyone, are welcome for the holiday events happening at our parks and around beautiful downtown Buckhannon. Please join us!
