Notice: The City of Buckhannon will be hosting the West Virginia Municipal League Board of Directors this week with the group conducting works sessions on both Thursday and Friday. As a result, we have canceled and/or rescheduled certain city meetings.

Historic Landmarks Commission CANCELED – The Historic Landmarks Commission 10/17/22 meeting has been canceled. The City of Buckhannon will be hosting the West Virginia Municipal League next week. The next Historic Landmarks Commission quarterly meeting will be held on January 17, 2023.
Planning Commission CANCELED – The Planning Commission 10/17/22 meeting has been canceled. The next Planning Commission quarterly meeting will be held on January 17, 2023

Madison Street Closure To Take Place Tuesday, October 18th through October 20th – One Day Only – The Sanitary Department has announced that Madison Street will be closed, from Florida Street to Spring Street, from Tuesday, October 18, 2022 through Thursday, October 20, as crews work on the new Madison Street property development. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

FYI – Customers of the Buckhannon Utility Boards are able to pay their utility bill online with no additional charges. Even if you do not wish to pay your bill using this method you may still desire to set up an account, as it will allow you to monitor your consumption.
To sign up to use this service you need complete the online registration, which includes knowing your Utility Board Account Number (it is printed on your bill) and the last amount you paid. Once your account has been established, you will just need to login with the proper email and password.
