Welcome to the 79th West Virginia Strawberry Festival!
May 11, 2021, Buckhannon, WV: The highly anticipated 79th Annual West Virginia Strawberry Festival is upon us! As a proud sponsor of this long-time celebration, the City of Buckhannon is fully committed to support the many volunteers who work year-round to produce one of West Virginia’s biggest events. While COVID-19 has caused festival organizers to wisely present an abbreviated schedule of event, it is nonetheless packed with amazing entertainment for the entire family.

Tuesday, May 11th, 2021:
8:00 PM – Strawberry Concert by the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Choir at the Way of Holiness Church
Thursday, May 13th:
All Day – Enjoy Window Displays Downtown
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM – Strawberry Craft Show at the Moose Lodge
10:30 AM – 6:00 PM – Sugar Cookie, Strawberry Shortcake & Homemade Ice Cream Available at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church
12:00 PM – Opening Ceremonies & Lighting of the Festival Flame on the Courthouse Plaza
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – WV Strawberry Festival Open House at the Historical Society – 29 West Main Street
4:00 PM – 9:00 PM – 4 – H Leaders Association Steak Wagon on Chancery Street
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Food Court & Live Music in Jawbone Park
6:00 PM – Coronation of the WV Strawberry Festival Queen & King at the Way of Holiness Church
